Dr. McCabe was born and raised in Mankato, MN, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as Biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and graduated at the top of his class earning his Dental Medical Doctorate (DMD). Dr. McCabe completed a six-year oral and maxillofacial residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He earned his medical degree (MD) from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed one year of General Surgery training.
Dr. McCabe is a board-certified member of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Minnesota Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, St. Paul District Dental Society, Minnesota Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals and has lectured on numerous topics within the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. McCabe loves most spending time with the family – his wonderful wife, Brittany, and three precious children, Gabrielle (“Gabs”), Johnny, and William – reading self-improvement and philosophy, mountain biking and skiing, playing chess and card games, and learning again to play the piano with his children.
